Creating Sysmac Studio Trace Data with RecSSConvert (1/4)
RecSSConvert
A PC application that converts trace data of variables collected on a PLC into the Sysmac Studio data trace format
Overview
Variables you want to display in Sysmac Studio data trace are saved in a recording structure and output to SD as files
If file names get sequence numbers repeating 0 to 99 so they are always overwritten, the most recent data can be retrieved when a fault occurs
As needed, the files output to SD are converted with SSConvert into csv files in a format that can be imported into Sysmac Studio data trace, and then imported
Use it for debugging, analysis when faults occur and so on

Preparation
Trace data
Set the data to trace in structure sData
| sData | STRUCT | |
| RecTime | DATE_AND_TIME | |
| Variable 1 | INT etc. | |
| ... | Max. 191 (*1) | |
*1 In Sysmac Studio data trace, the number of variables is 192 for NJ501 and NX701 and 48 for others,
but files made here, even with data traced on an NX102 etc., can be imported by changing the project model to NJ501 or NX701
RecTime (DATE_AND_TIME) is required to create a data trace file, so always include it
Set the other members freely to the variables you want to trace
| Traceable data types |
Basic data types (except strings) Arrays (with number of elements specified) |

In this navigator, the following data is traced
Structures
Always put DATE_AND_TIME as the first member
Always set the offset type to "CJ"
Variables
Create two arrays of this structure as buffers
The number of buffer elements can be any number up to 10,000
For example, with a task period (collection period) of 2 ms and 10,000 elements, one file holds 20,000 ms = 20 s of data
