How to Connect an IAI SCON

Overview

A set of function blocks for commanding servo ON, homing, JOG and positioning of an IAI SCON position controller from a PLC
In this sample, the PLC and SCON are connected via EtherNet/IP
The SCON operating mode is set to "Full direct value mode" (32 bytes)

SCON hardware configuration

NOTE

This sample uses an SCON, but it should also work with other controllers such as the PCON
It should also work in other operating modes such as "Half direct value mode" by changing the structure
When connecting via EtherCAT, MOVE the values of the variables set in the I/O map into the structure
